Making it to the Class of 35 @ The PhoCusWright Conference

As an entrepreneur myself, I’ve always been impressed by other entrepreneurs, innovators and people that inspire me. This combined with a love of the online travel industry means I’ve been to almost every industry conference and there’s one I keep coming back to. That is the PhoCusWright Conference. It is the brainchild of Philip Wolf, the CEO and Founder of PhoCusWright, an online travel marketing research company based in Connecticut.

The conference is an event where you will see the big players and startups together in one place to talk technology, raise issues and discuss what is in the pipeline, and what we all should be looking at. If there was a crystal ball for where the online travel industry is headed, this is pretty much it.

This year PhoCusWright started a new initiative called the Class of 35. It is an initiative targeted to inspire and engage young leaders (35 years or under) that are on the fast track to success in the online travel industry. The Class of 35 will attend the Young Leader’s Summit at the PhoCusWright Conference in November. I am honored to be considered part of this group, alongside industry colleagues from Sabre, Viator, Ideeli, Hipmunk, Kukunu, Vacation Rental Partner and many others.

I look forward to catching up with all of my friends and industry colleagues at the conference this year, and if you’re on the fence about going, I’d say that this is one you won’t want to miss. If you don’t, don’t worry, I can promise you lots of blog posts about it!
